County Summer Social

This year's Norfolk Summer Social is planned for Saturday 25th of July in beautiful Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Members from all Norfolk branches will meet in Bury an embark on a tour of its many pubs - and you're very welcome to join in, whether you're a Camra member or not.

The route is being decided, and won't include every pub, but we wanted to give you a flavour of what you can look forward to. More information will be shared nearer the time on Facebook.

Famous for its stunning Cathedral and as the home of Green King Brewery, Bury offers far more than first meets the eye - from cosy historic pubs and great local food to thriving craft beer venues.

If you would like to join us on the train, we will be catching the 10.38 from Vauxhall Station in Gt Yarmouth to arrive in Bury at 12.27 (times are :- 10.38 Gt Yar to Norwich, 11.30 Norwich to Stowmarket, 12.11 Stowmarket to Bury). BREAKING NEWS...Copied from Norwich CAMRA events page.... We will meet at 1.15pm at One Bull, then onwards to visit the Rose & Crown, Dove, Corn Exchange (approx 4pm), Nutshell, Nethergate Tap, Burnt Mill Tap, Old Cannon Brewery (approx 6.15), Beerhouse (near the train station).
