- Blackfriars Tavern Beer Festival

Blackfriars Tavern
The Blackfriars Beer festival will be held from Friday 10th July to Sunday 12th July.
This Award Winning Real Ale Pub was a Finalist in this years National Pub of the Year, based on the previous Beer Festivals this is one not to be missed.
We will add more information about this event as we get closer to it.

Blackfriars Tavern
They have done it again, Blackfriars have won another award.
Blackfriars already won the Cider Pub of the Year for Norlk but they now have also won the Real Ale Pub of the Year award.
Both awards will be given to Pharez and Rachel at 2.00pm by the local Camra Chairman, if you can get there on the day to offer support that would be marvelous. This will be on the last day of the Blackfriars Beer and Cider Festival, it will be a fun weekend.

The Reedham Beer festival will be held from Friday 17th July to Sunday 19th July.

- County Summer Social

Bury St Edmunds Station
This year's Norfolk Summer Social is planned for Saturday 25th of July in beautiful Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Members from all Norfolk branches will meet in Bury an embark on a tour of its many pubs - and you're very welcome to join in, whether you're a Camra member or not.
The route is being decided, and won't include every pub, but we wanted to give you a flavour of what you can look forward to. More information will be shared nearer the time on Facebook.
Famous for its stunning Cathedral and as the home of Green King Brewery, Bury offers far more than first meets the eye - from cosy historic pubs and great local food to thriving craft beer venues.
If you would like to join us on the train, we will be catching the 10.38 from Vauxhall Station in Gt Yarmouth to arrive in Bury at 12.27 (times are :- 10.38 Gt Yar to Norwich, 11.30 Norwich to Stowmarket, 12.11 Stowmarket to Bury). BREAKING NEWS...Copied from Norwich CAMRA events page.... We will meet at 1.15pm at One Bull, then onwards to visit the Rose & Crown, Dove, Corn Exchange (approx 4pm), Nutshell, Nethergate Tap, Burnt Mill Tap, Old Cannon Brewery (approx 6.15), Beerhouse (near the train station).

- Northern Cider Discovery Tour

King's Arms
Our Northern Cider Discovery Tour will be on the 26th July starting at King's Arms in GY at 11.30am.
We will catch a bus to King's Arms in Martham, Butchers Tap in Ormesby and California Tavern in California, not necessarily in that order.
Since we're doing lots of bus hopping it may make sense to pal up in pairs and get high five tickets.

- August Blended Branch Meeting and Social

Tavern
We will be holding the August Branch Meeting at the Tavern in Belton at 12.30, we plan to be there for 2 hours and then it on the Bus back to Gorleston for a Walkabout.
We have had a great time in Gorleston on a few occasions now so this should be another great day.

Ice House
The marvellous GYBCF will once again be held on a hopefully warm and sunny 'weekend' in September. Come sit by the river and enjoy a pint! Dance to the live music! Marvel at the circus acts!
This is a fantastic venue with great public transport links.
How do I get to an Ice House event/ where can I park?

Car: Car Parks close to The Ice House: Stonecutters Quay Car Park, NR30 1JB (5 min walk, free after 4pm) Greyfriars Car Park, NR30 2QE (10 min walk) Howard Street Car Park, NR30 1LN (10 min walk, free after 4pm) Market Gates multi-storey NR30 4BQ (20 min walk) Palmers Car Park, NR30 3JP (15 min walk) King Street Car Park, NR30 2PS (15 min walk)
Train: Abellio Greater Anglia run regular services from Norwich to Great Yarmouth.
Bus: First Eastern Counties, X1 Service from Lowestoft and Norwich run regularly on Saturdays and Sundays. Plan your magical mystery tour here. Anglian Buses also run regular services from Norwich and east coast areas.
All buses arrive at Market Gates, a few minutes north of The Drill House.
Dates and times are :- Thursday 17th - 5pm to 11pm Friday 18th - 12pm to 11pm Saturday 19th - 12pm to 4pm Sunday 20th - 12pm to 4pm (or until the beer and cider run out)
