  • May Branch Meeting Monday 11 May 2026 19:00 Troll Cart

    May's Branch Meeting will be held at the Troll Cart 7–9 Regent Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 2AF Monday 11th May at 7.00pm.

  • Woodbridge Day Out Saturday 16 May 2026 12:40 Woodbridge Museum

    We are hoping for a lovely spring day for our outing to Woodbridge; meeting by the We are hoping for a lovely spring day for our outing to Woodbridge; meeting by the Museum on the quayside.

    For those coming from Gt Yarmouth area, we will catch the 10.17 train via Norwich and Ipswich (that will be the 11.00 train from Norwich).

    Woodbridge is a lovely old market town full of history and we intend visiting half a dozen olde pubs, in a nice circular walking route.

    We hope to visit The Red Lion, Old Mariner, Ye Olde Bell, The Bull (if it's nice to sit outside), The Crown and The Anchor.

    It'll be a full day out, returning early evening.

    June's Branch Meeting will be held on Monday 1st of June at The New Entertainer, 80 Pier Plain, Gorleston, Norfolk, NR31 6PG at 7.00pm

  • Norwich Treasure Hunt Saturday 6 June 2026 10:30 Edith Cavell

    This is a new idea for the Branch, we are heading to Norwich and starting our Treasure Hunt at The Edith Cavell, hopefully starting there at 12.00. The idea being that we go around the City in Teams finding Treasures along the way, the is a good chance that we will need some Sustenance on the Journey.

    What a great chance to explore the City and find ourselves in some Great Real Ale Pubs to sample their offerings. This will be a fun day for all, hopefully we can get a few Teams together and make this one something to remember.

    This will also be on our Facebook Page, please share your interest or confirmation there so we can get a good idea of numbers, this will be important as we need to get our maps sorted for the day.

    We can catch the X1 at 10.30 in Yarmouth which gets us in to Norwich for 11.10. There will even be time for a cheeky breakfast to start the day.

  • Blackfriars Tavern Beer Festival 12:00 Friday 10 – 22:00 Sunday 12 July 2026 Blackfriars Tavern

    The Blackfriars Beer festival will be held from Friday 10th July to Sunday 12th July.

    This Award Winning Real Ale Pub was a Finalist in this years National Pub of the Year, based on the previous Beer Festivals this is one not to be missed.

    We will add more information about this event as we get closer to it.

  • County Summer Social Saturday 25 July 2026 Bury St Edmunds Station

    This year's Norfolk Summer Social is planned for Saturday 25th of July in beautiful Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Members from all Norfolk branches will meet in Bury an embark on a tour of its many pubs - and you're very welcome to join in, whether you're a Camra member or not.

    The route is being decided, and won't include every pub, but we wanted to give you a flavour of what you can look forward to. More information will be shared nearer the time on Facebook.

    Famous for its stunning Cathedral and as the home of Green King Brewery, Bury offers far more than first meets the eye - from cosy historic pubs and great local food to thriving craft beer venues

  • August Blended Branch Meeting and Social Saturday 1 August 2026 12:30 Tavern

    We will be holding the August Branch Meeting at the Tavern in Belton at 12.30, we plan to be there for 2 hours and then it on the Bus back to Gorleston for a Walkabout.

    We have had a great time in Gorleston on a few occasions now so this should be another great day.
