About Us
East Norfolk CAMRA was set up in November 2016 as an offshoot of Norwich & Norfolk CAMRA. In 2019, after 3 years of hard work we finally received full branch status. We found that being quite far away from Norwich & District our area was being rather overlooked and we wanted to change that to give landlords, local CAMRA members and the general public a voice.
Our area of remit covers the areas: NR13 3, NR14 6P (Haddiscoe), NR29 (Excluding NR29 5), NR30, NR31 & NR34 0. Basically we stretch as far south as Geldeston on the Suffolk boarder, all the way up to Horsey in the North of the county.
We perform various tasks to promote real ale, cider and perries in the area, recruiting new members, helping at beer festivals and also have been very active in preserving pubs and promoting them as being valuable community assets and meeting places.
